URBANARIUM GOALS
GoalOur goal is to act, in conjunction with other public and professional organisations, to enhance the mutual understanding of those who participate in the shaping of the city, and to make a contribution at the leading edge of thinking about the city. In order to achieve our goal, URBANARIUM offers an educational component, to community and urban thinkers and planners, and to our publics at large. We achieve our goal through the promotion of an understanding and appreciation of, and encouragement and involvement with, the evolution of the urban environment. Our goal is further achieved by the contribution of materials to city archives from the events and exhibits presented.
Brief History of URBANARIUMURBANARIUM has its roots in a group of professional planners, architects, writers, designers and developers committed to Vancouver and urban issues. Since its inception, members have consistently donated time and support services to produce public programs that explore issues relating to urban affairs. |
